a live website building course for our local university's continuing education department, Pam and I noticed three dominant

can anyone do it? I don’t know anything about computers.

#3 How can I find quality,
in-demand products to sell if I don’t have my own product, and how do I distribute my products without a warehouse and
expensive overhead?
We know that starting a small business can be intimidating
and that all of these are very understandable concerns and we truly sympathize because we've been there with no one out
there to get reliable answers and small business ideas from.
We have been
right where you are now and over the years have gained the experience and expertise needed to overcome these top three concerns

Well,
that’s all nice and dandy, you might say, but has she sold anything? Well…
So what about those of us who are busy? Must be nice to have all the time to do something you like--but I work all day, how
will I find time?
A wise man once
said, "if something is important enough, you’ll make the time."
But before you begin to make excuses about starting a small

 A Great Contribution - Read this book first, August 25, 2007 It is difficult to watch television or even to drive around in one's hometown without finding
an advertisement enticing the reader to get rich through using her or his computer. Most such efforts are about making the
scam artists rich at the expense of the gullible. The victims targeted are motivated people, especially those living in small
towns with sparse opportunities. Despite scammers' traps, the Internet truly enables one to remain in such a small town and
expand opportunities to make a decent livelihood well beyond those available locally.
The authors offer genuine opportunity. They have credibility because they have created their
own opportunity in just such a town with sparse resources. Instead of a get-rich quick scheme, these authors offer a very
reflective approach through a book that conveys honestly that there is much to know and that maintaining a successful E-commerce
business is hard work. However, if seeking a book written to lead the reader by the hand to success, this is the one to buy.
Authors address both PC and Macintosh equally--a rarity in most reference books, and you don't need the latest-greatest computer
to do anything they tell you to do. Cyber Gold... is well written and well illustrated. If the reader has difficulty understanding
the text, there's a picture; if picture and text fail to convey meaning, there's an example. This is a surprisingly fine reference
for a person who is a consumer at E-commerce sites too. Knowing how to tell a secure site from an insecure or scam site by
its URL is certainly good information for a consumer. Another audience could simply be those who build their own web sites,
even if these are not E-Commerce sites. I've purchased books on building web sites such as Dreamweaver for Dummies, and the
skills and knowledge are not nearly so clearly presented there as in this resource.
This book doesn't present the information in the stuffy style of most references. Instead, the
reader feels like he/she is just having a chat with the authors and learning the information through a prose that is genuinely
friendly. The publisher of the "...for Dummies" series should hire the authors of Cyber Gold... to rewrite some of their texts.
As soon as I cracked open this book, I went to the chapter on meta-tags and immediately improved my own web pages. Not only
can readers get a good book, but also it appears from the Amazon pages that readers can take a course from the authors through
an accredited university. This is a class act skillfully executed. If the authors put their course online, it will be huge--they
may have to attend to that more than the business that they created.

How can I find quality, in-demand products to sell
if I don’t have my own product? And how do I distribute my products without
a warehouse and expensive overhead?
One word: drop ship.
Now, if you haven’t heard of drop shippers before you’re in for a real treat because without the option
of drop shipping, e-commerce as we know it would not only have high overhead, it would be unreliable at best.
In a nutshell,
drop shippers are wholesalers of (or producers of) products and will ship orders directly to your customers.
So in other words, drop shippers will store all the products,
that they make or buy in bulk from larger wholesalers or manufacturers, that you want to sell on your site for you and then,
when an order is made on your site, you send them an email (this can also be made to happen automatically with special auto-pilot
programs) and they box and ship the item for you directly to your customer with your label and logo right on the shipping
box!
Isn’t that
awesome?
You can literally have
hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of merchandise you never have to store, insure, or ship. It’s all done for you! Now of course the drop shippers
will charge a small fee per item shipped (and most don’t even charge a drop ship fee!) but it is usually a small fee,
$2.00 to $3.00 at most, and for the most part, a dollar or less.
However, if you have your own product, information, or idea,
you are in a great position as well. Your own product places you in a niche situation
almost automatically. All you have to do is follow our instruction on how to
market and find the best keywords for your unique product that will drive buyers right to your site!
And to make it easy, we know two of the best drop ship directories
on the net today: Salehoo and World Wide Brands. We have used them both and have found them very reliable and extensive. To check them out, just click the handy links above to find out more. Four years ago, when Pam and I first heard of drop shippers (then it was a fairly new term and idea and
has come a long way since then in convenience and reliability) we felt like we found the mother lode!
Drop shippers
solved all our problems of providing quality products and reliable shipping for all our customers without having to fork out
a large amount of cash (that we didn’t have) for storage overhead and pre-paying for a product that may or may not be
in demand.
In other words, if the products we had on our site were not
hot and sales became slow for whatever reason, we wouldn’t have to have a “fire sale” like our “brick
and mortar” counterparts downtown and take a loss on our inventory--thanks to drop shipping, we would instead just change
products on our site--just change a few pictures and descriptions, that’s all.
Neat huh?

the Walden Bookstore in the mall with my little girl. Just wanted to say I love the book! Wish I would’ve had it when
I started my business a year and a half ago. It’s filled with tons of things I need to go back and do, especially on
the business side. I was always clueless about the entire dropshipping business. I never knew there were lists of wholesale
products out there. That’s awesome! (That’s something I’ve always wanted to know!)
BengalDens.com, the local Pocatello Rental Classifieds, is going really well. I’ve
learned a ton about SEO and after a year we are one of the most visited real estate sites in Pocatello. So after designing,
debugging and running BengalDens.com I realized I had learned .php and mysql databases.
The combo works really well
with Realtors and Property Managers for their home/rental listings. So I realized I had something to offer, now I'm starting
